NCDHHS Seeks Public Input on New Substance Use Disorder Service Definitions Through December 29

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is pleased to announce the posting of seven proposed State-funded Service Definitions for Substance Use Disorder services. These proposed definitions are part of our ongoing commitment to improving access, quality, and outcomes for individuals and families impacted by substance use across North Carolina.

We invite providers, stakeholders, advocates, and community members to review the proposed service definitions and share your feedback through December 29, 2025. Your input is essential in shaping services that are responsive, effective, and equitable. Your voice matters in shaping better mental health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use service system and support recovery for all North Carolinians.
