Our Mental Illness Wisdom for this time of pain and crisis

1) Keep your rituals. I'm still in the midst of pain, going to the gym at 6:00 PM and taking my pills at 8:30 PM. Keep islands of solid ritual in times of chaos. Some rituals, like my shabbat, are religious. Others are just your usual ways of doing things. Keep a solid schedule to fight uncertainty.

2) Perform acts of kindness. Donate to the victims. Call those in distress. Repair the world as a way of sustaining your soul.

3) Keep in good company. Associate yourself with those with hope. Do not engage with those who thrive on negativity and voyeurism
