The Arc of North Carolina Provides Helpful Resources on Tailored Care Management

Tailored Care Management (also known as TCM or just Care Management) began in December of 2022 and is designed for people who receive Medicaid and have an intellectual or other developmental disability, severe and persistent mental illness, traumatic brain injury, or substance use disorder.

The Arc of North Carolina's has a section on its website, What is Care Management?, providing resources and videos for people to better understand Tailored Care Management. One of the resources is an informational handout called "What Can Care Management Do for Me?" that is written in easy-to-understand language. You can download this document in both English and Spanish.
