Join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to learn how NAMI is partnering with corrections systems to bring peer-based programming into jails and prisons. This webinar will highlight NAMI’s evidence-based peer education and support programs, showcasing how they have been successfully implemented in diverse correctional settings to support individuals with serious mental illness who are justice involved. Speakers will share practical examples of overcoming common implementation challenges and building meaningful collaboration with correctional staff. Attendees will also gain insights into strategies for sustaining peer-led programs over time. Featured presenters include Becca Lane, Britni Farber, Marcus McCoy, and David Lange, who will offer on-the-ground perspectives from their work in the field.
