Wake County Drug Overdose Prevention CoalitionMedical Providers Substance Use Care Training: Reducing Barriers and Improving Outcomes

Build a more compassionate, stigma-free approach to medical care. This free training equips medical providers with tools to better support their patients with substance use disorder. The focus of the training is on reducing stigma and is sponsored by the Wake County Drug Overdose Prevention Coalition. The intended audience includes MDs, DOs, PAs, PharmDs, LPNs, RNs, CNAs, and Case Managers working in medical settings in Wake County. Continuing Education Units will be offered for this program.
